MOSCOW TO TURN INTO "NEW BOMBAY" UNDER PUTIN WORK PLAN

In yet another genius move by Russia's great President Vladimir Putin (fully supported by the Dissident Right in the West), the nation's ancient holy capital of Moscow will be transformed into a bustling Hindu metropolis, full of the rich sounds and smells of the subcontinent.

The plan involves transplanting millions of Indian workers to support the heroic North Korean fighters on the frontline in the war against the the "Nazis" of the Ukraine.

As reported by the Moscow Times:

Russia expects to recruit as many as 1 million workers from India by the end of the year, said Andrei Besedin, head of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, citing his Indian counterparts.

The effort comes as Russia, grappling with an intensifying labor shortage linked to the ongoing war in Ukraine and broader demographic challenges, seeks to tap into labor pools beyond the former Soviet sphere.

"Agreements have been reached, in particular, with India. As far as I heard from my Indian colleagues, 1 million specialists from India will come to Russia, including the Sverdlovsk region, by the end of the year," Besedin said in an interview.

The Indians won't just be confined to Moscow. Other Russian cities will receive this rich blessing, including the Urals region, where many Russian factories are suffering severe labour shortages:

A new Indian consulate would open in Yekaterinburg to accommodate the incoming Indian laborers, [Besedin] said. He added that these workers will help address staff shortages at metallurgical and mechanical engineering enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region.

"Many local workers have left to take part in the conflict in Ukraine, while young people are not seeking jobs in factories," he said.

Russia already has a massive non-Russian workforce recruited from former republics of the Soviet Union, primarily Muslims from Central Asia. The influx of Indians will provide an interesting contrast.

But it is not just Indians who will flood into Russia and irrevocably change its ethnic make-up. Efforts are also underway to bring in anything with a pulse from the Third World, including more North Koreans and Sri Lankans, because why not!

"Those people are good workers," [Besedin] remarked of North Korean workers, while acknowledging that integrating Indian and Sri Lankan laborers could prove difficult. 'We’re used to migrants from nearby former Soviet republics who studied in Russia and speak the language. For now we don’t have any experience working with [Sri Lankan and Indian laborers]... it will be difficult, as our approaches and practices may differ."

But of course Russia is desperate, so Bombay it is!
