Putocracy in action
A massive democracy nostalgia event is being held in Russia over the next couple of days to commemorate the brief period in the 1990s when Russians could actually vote for almost any political party they wanted—and then chose completely the wrong one by voting in a KGB goblin who stole all the democracy.
The vacuous, pointless, soul-crushing event will feature thousands of boxes with holes in the lid and millions of meaningless scraps of paper. "Democracy nostalgia" enthusiasts will then stand in lines pretending they are in a democracy, just like in the "good old days" of the 1990s when love was easy, vodka cheap, and they could vote for a variety of parties, not all of them run by KGB-mafia operatives.
After all the meaningless scraps of paper are collected, they will be "counted" in a giant furnace. If they burn, Putin will be declared "Dictator for Life" again and if they don't burn, he will be declared "Lifetime Dictator" after all the furnace workers have been shot.
After this, the "democracy nostalgia" enthusiasts will trudge wearily back to their dreary homes, think briefly of suicide as the bleak Russian Winter encroaches, and await their call-up papers. The men will then be fed into the Ukrainian meat grinder, while the women will be repurposed as "comfort women" to sexually service North Korean factory workers brought in to produce the drones needed to kill Ukrainian women and children.
