Non-Christian Conservative political pundit Ben Shapiro is apparently taking on Disney, with a scheme by his Daily Wire site to provide "wholesome" family-friendly content.
The move comes after Shapiro and others criticised the giant corporation for moving too far away from its traditional values in the direction of "wokeness," "degeneracy," and "mental illness."

As reported by Variety:
Is this yet more evidence of the cultural, social, and possibly political fracturing of America, or just a bit of consumer choice entering the marketplace leading to healthy business competition?
The Daily Wire, a conservative media organization with no history of producing children’s programming, is using Disney’s opposition to Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law as a rallying point to try to enter the business of kids entertainment.
The Nashville-based company announced Wednesday that it plans to invest at least $100 million over the next three years into live-action and animated kids’ content. That’s on top of more than $100 million it expects to spend on conservative-values entertainment content for adults, according to Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing. The right-wing outlet’s first content targeted at children is supposed to launch on Daily Wire’s subscription platform in the spring of 2023.
Americans are “tired of giving their money to woke media companies who want to indoctrinate their children with radical race and gender theory,” Boreing said in announcing the initiative. “But they want to do more than just cancel them. They want alternatives.
The Daily Wire’s most popular property is the daily podcast from co-founder Ben Shapiro, who has argued that homosexuality and transgender identity are mental illnesses.
