TRUMP COOKED BY THE GOP

Pancaking

"Depend upon it, sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully."

The wise words of Dr Samuel Johnson could be equally applied to the GOP and its voters with the "fortnight" replaced by the time available before the Mid-Terms. It is clear by now that, regardless of whatever tricks Trump attempts to pull short of an actual coup d'état, the chances are that he will be hit squarely below the waterline and the walls will start to close in—to give you two metaphors for the price of one!

Already Republicans are feeling this and are already moving ASAP to the Post-Trumpian space. The sure sign of this is that several of Trump's primaries picks have been rejected.

As reported by CNN:

"Nearly 300,000 people turned out to vote Tuesday in Republican primaries in Wyoming and two congressional districts in Florida where President Donald Trump endorsed one of the candidates.

But just 28% of them voted for the candidates he told them to, marking a particularly brutal night for Trump-endorsed candidates.

But that’s been a long time coming as GOP voters have increasingly shrugged off the advice of — and grown somewhat frustrated with the results from — a president who’s looking more like a lame duck.

Republican primary voters have now rejected 10 Trump-endorsed candidates for statewide office or Congress this primary season."

No doubt, according to the Trump playbook of always denying each and every failure, all these elections were "rigged" in some way.

Except they weren't.

Trump's iron grip on the GOP was the foundation of his misused power in his second term. For a time, everybody flying under the Republican flag had to toe the line and kiss the ring by supporting the moronic wars and incontinent tariffs, while ignoring the Epstein files, the blatant corruption, and the general shitting on everything.

But now it looks like that moment has passed. That strangely acrid stench in the air is simply the smell of Donald Trump already being cooked.
