She was born on November 27, 1963 in Long Island and attended graduate studies at Pennsylvania State University from 1981 to 1985.Her career then took place mainly at Turner Broadcasting System for twenty years and, since November 2011, at NBCUniversal, where she held advertising and partnerships management positions.She was also retained by the Trump administration to lead a presidential council on sport and nutrition in 2018. Linda Yaccarino has also headed a study commission at the World Economic Forum since 2019, on the evolution of work.
Apparently she is from a working class Italian-American family and her father was a policeman.
