One of the oddest things about US politics is the preference of voters for Presidential candidates who appear to be stupid, or at least intellectually dim. This results in winning candidates acting a lot dumber than they really are, unless they are Black, when the rule tends to reverse. With the advent of Donald Trump, however, Colin Liddell argues, Americans finally hit the jackpot and got the genuine dumbass president they have always wanted.
