So much political and metapolitical debate today is founded on lies and distortions. Perhaps the greatest lie of the 20th Century was the lie that Germany was unfairly victimised by the Allies after WWI, supposedly leading to hyperinflation, the rise of Hitler, and WWII. This lie has been frequently resorted to by Neo-Nazis, Hitler apologists, and others to promote their sterile ideas and false narratives. But instead of the "Carthaginian Peace" claimed by the Bloomsbury economist John Maynard Keynes and amplified by Hitler, the Treaty of Versailles was actually an example of great diplomatic leniency, as YouTube historian TIK demonstrates in this video.
