It's not yet clear what the final result of the Swedish general election will be, but returns so far show modest gains for the anti-immigration, pro-assimilationist Swedish Democrats and a small majority for the wider right-wing block of which it is a part.
The Swedish Democrats, routinely described in the Western media, as a "far-right," "fascist," or "Nazi" party, also looks set to become the second biggest party in parliament and the dominant force in the government if the Right maintains its lead in further counting.
Final results are expected on Wednesday.
