After a stabbing incident, Irish citizens are rioting against mass immigration and multiculturalism. Meanwhile, in Britain, with much higher levels of diversity and its attendant problems, there is little sign of a similar backlash. Are the British just more tolerant or passive than the Irish, or is the UK government just more skilful at managing the inherent tensions and conflict of multiculturalism?
