NEOKRAT CENSORED BY BLOGGER

Why do social media companies want to be like this?

Only minutes after we published a sane and measured response to the Middle Eastern crisis at this site, Blogger decided
to remove it.

To quote:

Hello,

Those wishing to judge how heinous the article is may view it on Colin Liddell's Substack.

Interesting reason. Spam! Most people understand that term to mean unwanted email.

Here is what its says in Blogspot's guidelines on spam:

Spam

Do not spam. This may include unwanted promotional or commercial content, unwanted content that is created by an automated program, unwanted repetitive content, nonsensical content, or anything that appears to be a mass solicitation.

There! That's all it says. So how is "spam" even an issue here? This is content published on a blog, which people are entirely free to NOT read.

So, what is going on here? Possibly Blogspot is trying to stop people accessing the hyperlinks in the article (you can find them on my Twitter and my Substack). Interesting this would be one major platform essentially declaring war on another major platform.

Or possibly the message has gone out from the West's rather shallow Deep State to blanket censor n' shadow ban as much social media content on the this "hot" Hamas vs. Israel conflict as possible, because it is bound to be used by bad actors to stir up every kind of shit and cause as much polarisation as possible. And, as you may or may not know, Neokrat is on the badly compiled "naughty lists." This kind of stupidity is what rule by algorithm looks like. Essentially "electronic racism."

Update: On appeal (and with some minor amendments) the article was republished by Blogspot after 3 days.

  1. You shouldn’t be angry about that. You censor comments here all the time.

    1. Shutting down troll comments with zero idea content is not censorship, it is hygiene.
Also, we don't publish "Anonymous" comments anymore, so if you wish to continue attempting to make shitty troll comments like the one above, stick a name on it.

    2. He’s right, you know. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

All Comments MUST include a name (either real or sock). Also don't give us an easy excuse to ignore your brilliant comment by using "shitposty" language.
