Israeli's Pinocchio moment
After a report by the Channel 4 News refuted Israeli claims that the missile strike that killed around 500 Palestinian refugees in a hospital courtyard came from Palestinian territory, an Israeli Defence Force spokesman has now "updated" Israel's story.
According to the new Israeli version of events, given to journalists by IDF spokesperson Avi Ben Liyin, the rocket that killed the refugees was still fired by Palestinian terrorists, but travelled over the hospital in an Easterly direction to Israeli territory, where it then hit an Israeli missile launcher, failed to explode and "ricocheted" back to Gaza, where it then tragically exploded at the Christian-run hospital.
"We have total and convincing evidence of this story, which we made up on the fly," said Ben Liyin, whose nose suddenly started to grow in an extreme Westerly direction, as journalists gasped in awe and wonder.
He then went on to claim that Channel 4 is "Hamas affiliated" and that its staff are all "Hitler-loving anti-Sems," before dumping a steaming turd in the IDF press room and storming out.

The earlier Channel 4 report used doppler sound analysis and impact site data to determine that the missile did not strike the hospital from Gazan territory, as initially claimed by the IDF. The report also used audio analysis to conclude that a tape released by the IDF to back up its earlier story had been faked:
