TWITTER IS DYING

There is clear evidence that Twitter is dying, after the social media platform started randomly "rate limiting" non-bot accounts today, including that owned by the editor of this site.

As reported by the Independent:

Thousands of Twitter users have reported problems with the social media platform this afternoon.

More than 5,000 people have complained of issues on the Down Detector site, including the inability to retrieve tweets, missing timelines and followers disappearing.

It is not clear what the cause of the problems is or how long they will last. The company is yet to comment.

Reports of the outage began on Down Detector at 12:19pm and have continued throughout the day. Three hours later, the same issues persist and users are getting frustrated.

This is possibly connected to the fact that Twitter, a platform that used to employ tens of thousands of people including many tech bros, is now run out of a shoe box in Elon's closet by a tiny, foul-smelling "Golem," concocted out of the discarded contents of his Tenga wank can, and brought to life by demonic incantations.
