____________
Bausman's main interest to the student of dissident politics is almost solely as a link between the Kremlin and elements of the fake Alt-Right, most notably Mike Enoch’s TRS and "National Justice Party" (NJP) cluster.

Born 1964, Bausman, is a "German American" who lived in Russia for a long period, and is married to a Russian woman. His father, John Bausman (died 2016) was head of the Moscow bureau of The Associated Press from 1968 to 1972. He appears to have been rather pro-Communist in his leanings.

The younger
Bausman, Charles, was educated at Wesleyan University and Columbia University, a notoriously left-wing university.

After graduating,
Bausman went to Russia to work in "agribusiness," and married a rather dull, average-looking Russian woman. Not this one:
Women like this are freely available for marriage on the streets of Russia.

After time as a talking head on the failed propaganda channel Russia Today, Bausman set up the notorious Kremlin shill site Russia Insider in 2014. The site stole articles from other dissident sites (including some of mine) and published increasingly toxic and anti-Semitic drivel to "gin up" its audience of Jew-obsessed Alt-Righters to work as an online Fifth Column.

There is evidence of major funding from Russia from 2015 onwards, but it seems likely that the site was Kremlin-backed from the get-go, as 2014 was “Year Zero” for ramping up Kremlin internet ops, following the Democratic Revolution in the Ukraine that humiliated Russian President Putin. Bausman's side-line in "agribusiness" was probably a convenient way for Kremlin money to be channelled to him for his various nefarious activities.

In 2020, it was found that Russia Insider shared the same Google Analytics account as National-Justice.com, linking Bausman directly to Eric Striker, Enoch's chief lieutenant.

According to Lancaster Online, in early 2020 Bausman also bought a 5-acre farm property in Lancaster Pennsylvania for $450,000 mainly for the TRS cluster to use. It was used not only to hold the NJP's 2020 conference, but also as a residence for Greg Conte and Trey Garrison, and a registration address for William Von Diez, a former leader in NJP-affiliated Identity Evropa.

Following the January 6th incident at the Capitol, Bausman was ordered by his Kremlin handlers to immediately flee the USA. They obviously feared that their asset would be arrested and successfully interrogated in the aftermath of that event. He is now believed to be skulking in Russia.
